TORONTO, March 13, 2020 Due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, LatAm Startups has decided to cancel in-person meetings until further notice. The health, safety and well-being of our community is top priority and we are following the lead of the Canadian public health authorities at this important time.
Regarding our commitment moving forward, LatAm Startups has decided to proceed with the Scaleup Bootcamp virtually. We are going to work closely with the companies and the volunteers, and ensure that the Bootcamp participants will have our full support while they navigate the Canadian tech ecosystem remotely. We understand that it is not the experience we would like to provide to the participants, but it is the best decision to make under the circumstances.
We are continuing to monitor this situation and will provide you with more updates.
In times of crisis, we have to be responsible, creative and be able to adapt. However, we cannot let this stop us in fear.
