Kingston Economic Development Corporation and LatAm Startups Launch Scaleup Bootcamp for International Businesses Expanding to Canada

Working in partnership, Kingston Economic Development Corporation and LatAm Startups are excited to open applications to the Kingston Scaleup Bootcamp expected to begin this coming October.

This free one-week scaleup bootcamp will be offered to eligible international startups primarily in health-tech and clean-tech sectors planning to expand their business to Canada with Kingston being their point of entry.

An exciting schedule is planned; daily training sessions with expert mentors from Kingston’s startup community, opportunities to build connections with leaders in the startup ecosystem, detailed information about Kingston’s programs and infrastructure, are a few things to look forward to during this one-week scaleup bootcamp.

Kingston’s culture of innovation and entrepreneurship is growing and bringing with it new people, big ideas, diverse personalities and a fresh outlook on how to drive economic development. With Kingston being strategically located between Toronto and Montreal, accessing incredible resources including investors, mentors, acceleration programs and infrastructure couldn’t be easier. Kingston is home to three leading post-secondary academic institutions including Queen’s University and is recognized by Statistics Canada for having the smartest workforce with the most Ph.D. graduates per capita ultimately providing a strong talent pool for companies.
